The Roslyn Bulldog Marching band is characterized as a tight-knit unit. Many members often liken the group to an extended family, citing close bonds and endless support. These rich relationships are anchored in a culture that has been developed over the course of nearly two decades, and many of those seeds were planted in Roslyn High School’s band room.
It’s not just a rehearsal space or a classroom. The band room has become a member in its own right, offering safe haven to young musicians who want to talk about, create, and play music with one another before the first bell rings and well after the last bus has left.
Join Corey Miller as he explores how a physical spaces can yield a championship band.
